Well I picked up my pearl the day it released and yesterday it officially stop producing sound. I made sure it wasn't muted. Vibrate works fine. I'm not liking the pearl very much right now.

It sounds like a defective Pearl (just like any electronic device). I would just return and exchange it, they'll be glad to give you a new one to make you happy and not to cancel the account.

Have a lot patience and time learning it. You will soon change your mind about the Pear like I did.

This has happened with several Pearls. Try pulling the battery and see if that fixes it.

yes... happened to me.. battery pull fixed it. Obviously software related.
