Default Less Static from my 8100 vs my 8700

Recently switched from an 8700C through Cingular to the 8100 with T-Mobile. When I had the 8700 if I placed within a few feet of a radio I have on my desk it would interfere with the radio. Noticed with the 8100 I can put it right next to the radio and no interference. Not a big deal, but interesting. Since with limited desk space was always a pain to have to make sure I put the 8700 as far away from the radio as possible when at work.
