Default Widcomm and Desktop Manager work around?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

I did a search and seemed to get the general impression that the widcomm drivers for my bluetooth adapter (its actually the internal IBM Integrated III on my T42) are not compatible with Desktop Manager.

While I have the option of installing the MS Stacks for my bluetooth adapter, I prefer the widcomm ones, as they provide much more functionality. As usual, MS includes a minimally functional application which everyone uses because it is pre-installed. THere is no way to use a bluetooth headset with the MS bluetooth drivers, at least not any way I have figured out.

Does anyone know of any workaround to using the widcomm drivers with Desktop Manager? Or do I really have to make a choice between using my bluetooth headset with skype and syncing my 8100 via blackberry?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would prefer to use Widcomm as well, but there does not appear to be away to do this.

I decided to stick with Widcomm and sync the BlackBerry via USB for now.
