Default Audio dies - 10-24-2006, 11:50 AM

I bought this phone with my faves plan from tmobile... I really liked the phone in the beginning but now it is becoming annoying as audio dies by itself. All of a sudden phone stops ringing (active profile/loud profile), you can't hear when you play media/audio files and even alarm doesn't ring. Annoying Annoying Annoying

Have you upgraded the firmware to either the new Rogers or the O2 handheld OS?

I upgraded it and there is no way I can test it unless it doesn't happen for next 10 days.

why cant you test it withen the next ten days? I have never had this problem myself so I cant really help you. Most issues are fixed with a reset (battery pull)

I can't test it at all because I don't know why it happens.. that's why I said if it doesn't happen for next ten days it means its fixed. Yes, it gets fixed by battery pull but I don't want to do it every other day after I've missed few calls or I was not able to get up because alarm didn't ring

I'm new to this phone, got it yesterday, but noticed that if I don't chose the "close" option on a video that was played in the media it did shut my ringer off...weird hugh? It means if you play a media sound or video you have to remember to press menu and shoose "close" always? Kind of annoying!

I hope your problem is as simple as that!
