Looks like the handheld software is now available from TMO. I logged into my T-mobile and clicked on system updates and it shows that Handheld Software 4.2.0.42 is available. Downloading now

Politicians are a lot like diapers and they should be changed often and for the very same reason.

That's the version that came with the BB originally and is not an upgrade.
