Takes a long time to view pictures
 

when I click menu>view pictures while in camera mode it can take a very long time to display the pictures I have on my device. Sometimes up to several minutes. The problem seems worse when I have more pictures. Anyone have this problem or know a fix for this? It seems like maybe the wait time comes from the program trying to load thumbnails for all the pictures. Is there a way to disable thumbnails or at least display lower quality ones?

go into "pictures" then "options" and change the thumbnails per row to 4. this will create smaller, faster loading thumbnails. also, if you resize your pics to 240x260 they will load much faster. i moved larger pics from my pc to my pearl and those larger pics take much longer to load. i've since resized all my pics to the pearl resolution and all pics load quick.

Also, the first time you go to your Media after taking a few pictures it takes a very long time to generate the thumbnails, but subsequent visits go much faster...

I go into Media > Pictures but I don't see an options...just folders: Preloaded, Media Card and Device. Is it Options from the menu?

Click on the pictures to pull up the folders list, then click on the menu button.

I don’t know about u guys but I take a lot of pictures & delete the ones I don’t like later.
