Pearl sold exclusively by T-Mobile until 12/1/06? -

I was at a T-Mobile store this morning and picked up a Pearl folder packet. It had a bunch of marketing materials and stuff in it. One of the brochures, Blackberry Pearl FAQ Job Aid had this in it:
Q: Who else will be selling the Blackberry Pearl?
A: The BlackBerry Pearl will be sold exclusively by T-Mobile until December 1, 2006.
Attached is a scan of part of the brochure.
So I guess that means Cingular wont release it until after 12/1/2006?

Sounds about right, except that Cingular said they are not releasing the Pearl until after the Holidays. Some speculation on that since I wondered why would Cing pass on selling during the Holidays unless T-Mo had the exclusive until Jan 1, 2007.
So your post makes me wonder. If T-Mo only has exclusive till Dec 1, why would Cing not sell the Pearl during the all important Holiday season?

Don't buy it at the store (for $200). Buy it at Amazon (free, including 2 day shipping). You just gotta stick with it for 6 months is the catch.

In the UK Vodafone are selling the Pearl, the roumors are rather not true.

Not sure what you are saying here. What people are talking about in this thread is when the Cingular phone will be sold in the U.S.
We all know the Pearl is being sold elsewhere in the world by other carriers. |

dont know, my buddy works for cingular but i didnt ask him the details. all i cared was that i already had the pearl, and tmo is better then cingular anyway
