Default Rogers 4.2.0.61 or stick with 4.2.0.42?

I'm not sure what I should do about the upgrade. I have a T-mobile Pearl and I feel like if I upgrade to the rogers version it will mess up my BB in someway. What's the difference betweeen the two, besides the auto dim?

the auto-dim is pretty much the difference, rogers software is a little better since its an updated version. there is nothing really you can mess up.

you just need to delete vendor.xml file so it lets you install rogers OS.

I thought rogers Had 4.2.0.51 not the 4.2.0.61 release... Did they come out with a new one? I'm hopping the cingular pearl will have higher then .64 that we have now from O2.. Still even the one from O2 has lots of bugs in it I mean its LOTS better then the T-mobile OS but come on lets get it right already!

I've just visited Rogers website and the only software for pearl is .51.

I don't know about others but the T-Mo OS I had running on my Pearl was filled with bugs and I would always get null point errors and what not. The Rogers OS corrected all my issues and then I upgraded to the o2 OS which for me has been the best OS so far.
