Hi guys,

need some help.

When I have no new messages and i scroll to the message icon. The notification message next to the icon says (-1 message). Then when I receive a message it just says (messages) if I recieve 2 messages it just says (1 message).

How do I stop this happening and get it back up to date?

This is driving me crazy. The new message notifiction icon at the top of the home screen is now also 1 message behind. please help me to sort this today. Or is it just a bug with the software?

Have you tried pulling the battery to restart the phone?

It's a bug in the particular theme you are using. There are a few threads already here about negative numbers displaying...

Which theme do you use?

Check your "saved" messages folder and make sure that there is nothing in there. Sometimes mail in other folders [unread] keeps the icon on the screen.

Check other folders too.

Then do a battery reset.

Lastly, T-Mo is very helpful. That have the best tech support I have ever seen. Give them a call. Be aware that some techs know more than others, so a call back may get someone else, that is, if you don't feel the first one called knows the answer.
