I formatted my 1GB micro SD and put in the phone and the phone doesnt recognize it! I tired to go to Settings but there is no "Media Card" . I tried a diff media card, and still doesnt work! Any suggestions?

ps. I put my friends 1Gb card in my blackberry and it does work! is it possible to have back to back faulty mem cards? Im thinking there is something Im not doing right.

Did you try putting your card in your friends phone?

Mine didn't work at first, but once I formatted it with the 8100 it worked.

It could be faulty. Make sure its sitting just right in the craddle.

I put my 1GB in and it worked perfectly right off the bat.

i put the micro sd in its adapter in my digital camera and it works just fine!
my camera created a folder "DCM" .. wierd how come the blackbery doesnt recgonize the mem card. so the card works! just not in my phone.
