You have to manually start App Loader. It will then ask you if you want to downgrade.
Just because you forgot to replace the .alx file doesn't mean you need to downgrade. Jus unplug your phone, replace the .alx file, restart DM and plug your phone in. DM will detect and install the .alx file.
Fair point...but I swear I read about so many phone issues after the upgrade.
They weren't really issues. They were more like 'features' that people were use to that were taken out. However, no one knows if these 'features' will be put back with later releases (i.e. T-mo)
all you had to do was replace the .alx file and it would have updated everything and you didnt have to down grade to upgrade again.. That make sence? You can always edit the files in the OS just save what ever edits you make and hook it up to the app loader and run through it once and it will automaticly upgrade to what ever you edited. Im guessing you wanted all the unloacked themes correct since that whats in the blackberry.alx file? you should have just downloaded the "edited" blackberry.alx file with all the themes unlocked and replaced the old .alx file with the new one and saved yourself about an hour of time

Or are you talking about you didnt delete the vendor.xml file before running the app loader? If thats the problem just search for vendor.xml delete it and run the app loader again and it will upgrade

I have the O2 software, and believe me, Im happy with it. I dont like autodim, but seriously, I could not deal with having a 1 displayed in my missed calls and there being no way to delete it. I just have this thing where I dont want anything to appear on my screen (email, missed call, push message, or vm). When the missed call icon stayed on, it drove me nuts.

Which OS was giving you the missed call icon? I never heard of that bug...
i just installed the .64 OS over my T mobile one.
I put opera on as i cant find the normal browser, so i can connect to the internet, but i cant add an email account to the phone ?
Do i need to go back to what T mobile gave me, as it was alot slower than the .64 ive just put on.
