Default Seidio aluminum case

Is anyone getting this one? I'm tempted because it seems to provide the protection of a case and the accessibility of a holster without having to spend $60 to get both.

The only 2 questions I have are :

1) Does it have a sleeper magnet?
2) When it says the screen of the 8100 will be protected yet visible, does that mean it actually has something that covers the screen? I can't tell from looking at the pic.

I can't post links yet, so :

Black version : seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=562
Silver version : seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=561

I remember someone posting a link of this case on eBay. The case makes the 8100 look 'futuristic' yet more bulky than the Rubberized case. We'll see if I can rack up some more funds.

Hi,

1. There is no sleeper magnet in this case - as opposed to our holster which does have one.
2. There is a hard plastic, transparent piece of plastic protecting the screen.

If I can answer anything else for you, please let me know.

what's the translucent quality of the screen protector? is it as clear as the other screen-only protectors that are available through seidio?

It is transparent as shipped, but really can't be compared to the screen protector. The dedicated screen protector is applied directly to your LCD, while the plastic piece hovers above it.
