Great Simpsons... Did you mess with the volume in the conversion process? It's nice and loud! Unlike my other conversions.

You might have a long wait. First, that's asking people to post non-copyrighted material. Not sure how much of that people have. [One gets in trouble for sharing copyrighted material. One does NOT get into trouble for keeping such for one's personal use].

Second, and more significant [since most people don't care about copyright laws], to post a video one would have to have access to a server to host the file. Most videos for the Pearl, say a 20 minute sitcom [like Seinfeld] is about about 50MB. That's too large a file for for posting on one's server and just to FTP it to the server takes some time.

Music videos are about 6 to 7 MB. While those are smaller files, sharing those brings up copyright concerns, again.

Lastly, if people have any home movies or something in the public domain, those might be too large or just plain boring, so doubt we will see any of those.

Just my 32 cents on why you are still waiting.

It didnt work for me for some reason. I put it on my TF card and said it couldnt open it. Did I miss something?

IMHO it is so easy to download videos and convert them for use on the Pearl, that any requests for videos should be ignored.

I mean, the program to convert the videos is a whopping $15.

And I would venture to guess that from downloading a YouTube video to converting it to "Pearl format" would take me about two minutes, about as long as it takes to post a request that people post videos.

Lastly, see my post about most people not having the ability to upload on to a server 5MB to 12MB video files, so you might be waiting a long time for people to post anything.
