Default Aluminum Case for Pearl !!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

This is the ultimate. Bought similar one built for my iPod, and it is amazing. Lightweight. Great protection. Better than any skin, screen saver or leather case. Fits like a glove. Custom made for BB Pearl. Ships from Hong Kong. Check it out! MK.Workshop site / store on eBay.

it was mentioned that the screen protector on this actually floats above the screen, as opposed to other protectors which adhere to the screen... what's your take on the visibility of the screen with the aluminum case on? i imagine there is a loss of some screen *pop* and clarity...

***EDIT***
Woops... thought you were talking about the Seidio aluminum case... regardless, does your case have a screen protector and how do you think it changes the screen characteristics?

Is this the one that looks the same as the Seidio aluminum case?

Is that the one that add too much thickness to the phone? That looks like it was built like a tank?

If so, I really don't see good use for it except for extreme cases. If your job is really really rough than maybe it's good thing to have.

in my mind it makes the "pearl" look like a piece of "coal".... it turns it into something that looks like a communication device that might be worn on the utility belt of a police officer... not my cup o' tea

Like I said in another thread, I bought one of those cases for my 7100t, mostly because I thought it looked like a cool concept.

When I got it, I put the 7100t in it, said "fc*k this" and it sat in a cabinet since then, about 19 months.

For this Pearl discussion I went and dug it out for all of you to enjoy. Put the Pearl in it, just for grins.

Sidenote: Only cost me $12, so no big deal.

Bonus Tip: Anyone wanna buy a really nice aluminum case for your Pearl. Pics below. $30, plus shipping.

That's what I thought it was. It's only good if you in a job that is extreme. For everyday people, this is not a good idea to have.
