Sorry in advance for this post, i tried searching forums on this topic with no luck.

Just bought my Pearl and I'm trying to stop messages being stored on my device that are sent from my computer. Went to the Help feature on the device and the directions aren't helping as i cannot find where to go:

1. in a message list, press menu
2. click options
3. click email settings
4. click folder redirection
5. clear check box next to sent items folder
6. press menu
7. click save

am i missing something? cannot find "email settings"

I am wondering this too. I can do this on Desktop Manager and Sent is not selected. However I still receive all messages I send from my PC which is extremely annoying to say the least. The instructions you found are the same I found in the Help file, but that sequence does not work on the Pearl - the steps from 4 on cannot be performed on the device.

So if anyone can help, PLEASE, how do I stop my BB from receiving sent items from my PC?

Further clarification. If I follow these instructions, I can only get to #4. At that point if I press Menu, my options are

Change Option (context sensitive)
Save
Switch Application
Close

There is nothing anywhere on my BB that I can find for Folder Redirection.

So as I sit here and work all day at my PC sending email after email, each and every one ends up on my Pearl. This is a dealbreaker as far as I am concerned but it seems it shoudl be an easy fix.
