Default No more e-mail reconciliation...

Please Login to Remove!

I just reloaded the OS on my BB Pearl (not sure if I did it correctly, but I opened up desktop manager, hit the applications button, unchecked everything, re-synced, then did a wipe through "security options > wipe") and now I don't have a choice to delete emails on the handheld or on both my handheld and my inbox.

I tried to turn on e-mail reconciliation by going to "messages > options > email reconciliation" but the email reconciliation option is no longer there! All that shows is "general options." Does anyone know whats wrong or how I can get the email reconciliation option back?

Thanks!

Default Try Re-sending Service Books

I had an issue with reconciliation when I changed from desktop re-director to BIS. Basically I had to go into options --> advanced options --> service books and delete all service books EXCEPT Provisioning (you must keep that one).

Then log into BIS online at the TMobile site and click re-send service books. After a few minutes your BB should have the right service books which include BIS info.

Not sure if your problem is the same as mine, but that's what I did and it worked fine for me.

i am having this same problem. when i go to options>email reconciliation, there are no options! i tried resending my service books, but that has not changed anything. is it imperative that i delete the service books on the handheld first? thanks in advance.

No, it is not imperative to delete them, but if it works for you without deleting them, then don't delete.

However, if your way does not work and you wish to follow the advice from bsz101 above, you should follow it completely, not just partially.

Someone please help. I also reloaded OS on BB pearl on BES, now wireless email reconciliation is not achievable save I use 'Reconcile now' option. I set my 'Delete on' on prompt but it's no longer prompting me. There is also no send option while replying an email.

I have the following under email reconciliation via messages option;
Messages Services: Desktop
Delete On: Prompt
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins
