Today when I was scheduling an event into my Calendar I was unable to save it every time I tried. I kept getting the following message:

Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ObjectGroupReadOnlyExcep tion

I tried to delete the appointment and it still didn't delete. I removed the battery to reset it and then it worked. I'm curious what may have caused my BlackBerry to display that message though. Anyone have any ideas?

I get that error all the time when I try to find a contact with out going to my phone book
It burns my cookies!

It was the first time I had seen that error on my Pearl. I haven't had it after I did a reset and I hope I don't get it again!

well i hope u have better luck than i do cause i get it at least 1 time a day

I wonder if no 1 knows what we are talking about or a fix is not known

I finally called tmobile about the error & they said I had a contaminated file they walked me threw the process to get rid of it. They will have to patch you threw to the Blackberry office though so you will need to have about an hr worth of free time. But itxxx8217;s fixed
