| T-Mobile: Internet Messenger, roaming charges Please Login to Remove! Even if you have the $20 unlimited email/internet access, every messenger message (yahoo , MSN, etc) you send costs you an SMS text message.
If you are travelling internationally, there are roaming charges for IM messages. For email T-Mobile said that there is a charge of $15 per MB of data. What they did't tell me for data there are substantial roaming charges. For 3 weeks of international data & IM usage (which was light), I have to pay $60 extra now. They have a $20 per month International plan (on top of their standard $20 for unlimited local email/internet) which they claim won't have the roaming charges.
I wish T-Mobile would have warned me when I called their tech support/cust service before travelling.
Do others have a similar experinece using their BBs internationally with T-Mobile?
