Default Question on e-mail setup for BlackBerry Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to BlackBerry, I was using Windows Mobile for 3 years.

I have a new BlackBerry Pearl and loving it!!! I do need help how to receive my work e-mail.

My company doesn't use BES. I would like to receive my work Exchange Outlook e-mail and be able to reply from my Pearl but I want to show that I'm replying with my company's e-mail address.

1. Should I Desktop Redirector (must leave PC running)?
Or
2. Should I create a new contact with my BlackBerry e-mail address
Note: I don't know how to set this up. I do have access to Active Directory.

Thanks in advanced!

My company uses Outlook exchange and here is what I did. I set it up through tmo website. Entered in my email address and it actually found the server for the webmail address. I can then use that address to reply to email that come i9nto that box and nobody ever knows it came from a bb

Do you have Outlook Web Access that you use when you are away from the office? You can setup the BB to use this as your email server.

Yes, I can access my e-mail via Outlook Web Access.

How do you setup the BlackBerry Pearl as your e-mail server.

I'm sorry for my post... I'm very disgruntled right now...

The T-Mobile website will guide you through the process of setting up your e-mail.
