Hi,

I think there was a thread to this issue before but I cannot find it :( it happened before once but recently it is happening about 3 times a day. Getting to the point, all my text messages and call log is erased and I don't know why, I think it started more after I put password on my phone do u guys know what's going on?

Usually it happens when the phone is low on memory, but I'm not sure of your situation. I'm running O2's .64 and I'm not having any problems with it, but then again, I'm not using a password.

I've never had that problem - and the only time I've heard about it is when you run out of memory, as xyrcncp said...

Mine too. ALL of my SMS and call logs for the last 24 hours (till reboot now) were deleting themselves: first from my inbox and outbox after sent or read, then BEFORE I even read them! I had alot of confused and annoyed friends who were supposed to meet up with me last night at a bar tell me that I was ignoring their messages. When I tried to send myself one, the message appeared for a nanosecond then erased itself! Can't believe it. So annoying. Now appears to be working again, but for how long? I have rebooted a few times.

I had that once... the sms seemed to disappear as soon as it hit my inbox and I had plenty of memory left on the device itself. I pulled the battery out to reset it and I haven't had the issue since.

Angry Logs erased Again

Arghhh...My call logs got erased again. My 8100 decided to save me a few emails so that my message history wouldn't be completely blank. I just got off the line with Rogers Technical support. They said RIM is aware of the problem and will be releasing a critical update. Then he says it may be in about a month. Global Troulbe Ticket # 1427197
