I send plenty of text messages on my phone, especially to my girlfriend. Whenever we text each other, her name comes up on the "from" field in the text message [she is a contact in my addess book on the phone]. I got MyFavs the other day and ever since whenever I receive a text message from her [this only seems to happen to her because she is a MyFavs] only her phone number comes up in the "from" field. I can't find a way to get her name to come back up...can anyone help me? Thanks.

Not sure how myFavs works but make sure however the tele number is stored in Favs settings is the say way its stored in contacts maybe???

Ex. area codes, country codes ?

Not to get off topic, but it sure seems alot of people are having problems with Favs

This is a commen problem that has been talked about before. I'm not sure of the fix maybe a OS upgrade try searching and I think you will find what fixed it. Yes myfavs has lots of bugs in it. One of the reasons I don't have it on my 8100

i'll confirm, i know three users, including myself, with this exact same problem. text message contact name shows up (as opposed to contact phone number) EXCEPT for any contacts who happen to be myFaves, in which case only the phone number shows up, no name.
