Default Means of update notification???

What will be the easiest way to know when a firmware update comes out for the pearl? Will they send me an email or is there a mailing list to join? I'm tmobile if it makes a difference.

AFAIK, there's no notification. I've always relied on this board for that and checking BlackBerry Upgrade every now and then.

If you are with T-Mo, as I recall they have NEVER told me there were updates, I had to find out myself.

Ditto on just checking the boards. I am sure someone will post the info within 30 seconds of an update being available.

Also, do you pay your bill via online access? If so, you can check every month to see what's what. Just go to T-Mo's "update" page and they will tell you if there are patches, etc.

I alternate between avatars over time. I have a folder full of them. I change per my mood swings and sense of humor about myself.

Matter of fact, that Jesus Shaves is getting old [been using it for about a year here and there]. Think I'll switch it.
