Default which is better for aim-googletalk or ramble?

Please Login to Remove!

Im currently running ramle and it's a decent program but I constantly get logged off. Im not sure if googletalk has it's own bugs or not. From the people that's tried both, what would you recommend for my pearl?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Pearl: BlackBerry8100/4.2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I find that google talk and yahoo messenger works the best... For aim and msn I use verichat, I don't get logged off with verichat... And the yahoo messenger and google talk never log me off and I have them logged on for days at a time.

I don't know why no one puts Yak-On as thier first choice. It's simply the best IM chat program out there hands down for the blackberry device.

The problem with it, is that is uses SMS and not data. If you don't have a big text messaging package, you may receive a hefty bill for all those IM's.

It's extremely crappy. I can't even get online alot of the times. I have unlimited text msgs so thats not the issue with me. If the OZ client was good, then I would keep it. Right now, I love Ramle, but it also has a few bugs in it. For one, I get logged off unexpectingly. Im considering googletalk, but i want to make sure its worth it cause it seems to be a pain in the arse to install.(for AIM)

GT fan here, i've used others (and still do) but with GT i can go from berry to pc without loosing track of conv or being booted. You can be logged into both at the same time and with some others it's one or the other. I don't get logged off daily either by GT. I've had good luck with GT maybe that's why i like it so much. Others may not say the same tho?

A while ago, I did a poll on the most popular IM. It turns out that Ramble and Yak-On top the list. So you may want to try Yak-On. There is a one time fee for it though.

I try it out and I like. I was planning to buy it but I change my mind. I decided that I don't want people to IM me on my phone. I rather have them IM on my PC instead.

I've been using Ramble since my 7100t and never had a problem. I'll give GT a try though.
