I don't know id anyone elses has experienced this problem.

When I have my bluetooth headset connected to the my Pearl, if I receive a text message, it stays on the home screen even after I read it and/or erase it. The only way to get rid of the message is to pull the battery. Can anyone offer any insight into why this is happening and a way to fix/prevent this from happening?

I had the same thing happen recently but no bluetooth headset. It was a SPAM text message (which is a new thing for me!). It wouldn't delete until I rebooted the phone. I'd like to know what the deal is too!

I get this issue when using any of the "Today" themes, which sucks because I really like those themes.

Maybe it is theme specific?

Kinda dumb feature don't you think? I get a text message, I read it/reply to it, want to delete it...it's gone from the actual messages screen, but remains on the Today screen.
