Default Pearl's memory capacity - 11-14-2006, 12:12 AM

Does this Balckberry have a limit on the amount of gigs that can be used for the micro sd card? I haven't seen any specs on this issue. Will the phone take a 2 gig micro sd card?

That's a no. From what i've read 2 gig shuts off the screen 1 gig is the highest you can safely go.

That's wrong; with the latest upgrades to the handheld OS (v4.2.0.64 is the latest) you can now use 2GB microSD cards. That was a bug in the original OS (4.2.0.42) that shipped with the T-Mobile Pearls. Upgrade and then you can use a larger microSD card.
