Default BB 8100 + MMS via BES 4.0

I've got an issue that we are having with the first 8100 that we have purchased. Everything is working fine, but we are unable to send MMS.

Handset on a BlackBerry data plan with Vodafone UK, which has also had MMS added to the price plan. The IT Policy on the BES does not 'Disable MMS' either.

When the user tries to send an MMS Message, it comes up 'No MMS Service Available - save as a Draft?'.

We've checked the MMS settings on the handset and they appear to all be set correctly, so we are really stumped!

After contacting Vodafone Technical Services, they at first said it was possible as long as MMS was added to the price plan and not disabled via the IT Policy. However after contacting them today, they are now saying that MMS is currently not available with Vodafone?!! Surely this is not true - MMS is money to them afterall!!

Anyone have anything they have found that works/had to be changed?? Or is it really not available

Just had word from our account manager regarding the current issue with MMS on BlackBerry via Corporate -

I have been advised by the Vodafone Blackberry Product Manager that RIM and our handset testing team are working on this at present but it does not have high priority but that if this is causing customers major problems then he can request that the priority level be improved.

So it looks like for now, it isn't possible.

Default Works for me

I'm on Vodafone with a BES account and I am able to send and receive MMS messages.
