Default traveling and need to know asap! - 11-24-2006, 09:33 AM

I can just turn off the phone by pressing and holding the red phone button right? Or will the phone still use battery while its off? I am going on a 16 hour flight to china today and I need to know the best way to conserve the battery while in flight. Should I just say Fock it and take the battery out too? unfortunately Im running the 02 version that drains the battery. someone please let me know the best way to conserve asap cause i will need to use my pearl alot when i land. tia

If your on a 16hr flight there should be power plugs somewhere on that plain? Go to the power icon on your device and click, when prompted choose "full power off" should do the trick.

I usually take out the battery on long flights like that.

I just flew home from China. I simply turned the radio off, and the battery lasted fine on the flight. I even played games for a while on it.

I'm just mad that Connexion by Boeing is gone now...

I made great use of that on my 14 hour flight from DC to Seoul on Korean Air.

Well... That's probably true...

It was nice to be able to post on dailyofftopic.com and here from 40,000 feet though.
