Desktop Manager

Hi there,

I am trying to load some games to my Pearl. I am not sure exactly how yet, I am still trying to figure out.

So, I start from my Device Manager, by using the Application Loader.
However, when I click on it, it said

"The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator"

May I know what does it mean?

I have downloaded some .jar and .jad file, can i just load these files by using the Application Loader and I am good to go?

TIA for your help.

.jar and .jad files are for downloading directly to your BB device through the browser only. You need .cod and .alx files for loading from the PC via Desktop Manager.
