Default The trackwheel won't do downward sometimes

Just today the trackwheel refuses to scroll down after I start it up, but after I mess with it for like a minute then it works fine. Happened again later in the day. I've blown it out with dust remover weekly since I got it (a month ago). Is this a bad sign of things to come? Is there a sensitivity setting for the trackwheel? I don't want to repace this unit, I like it a lot.

You can set sensitivity in options>screen/keyboard> trackball sensitivity

It happened to me on my Cingular Pearl. Just give it a quick blow (no euphemism intended) it it will work.

This just happened to me...AND I hear a scraping sound. Not good. Not sure if there is a grain of dirt in there or not. It's still intermitent.

i still wonder how long the trackball will last. if you look at the first sony ericsson phones with joysticks: after 12 month the joystick was broken on every phone i've seen..

Found some compressed air...worked like a charm - turned it off & held the trackball as I sprayed. All better now.
