| Can't send e-Mail Please Login to Remove! I have no prior experience with Blackberry or smartphones of any type . . . Yesterday I bought a Pearl and signed up with Cingular for the unlimited data plan with Blackberry Internet Service.
I set up my regular POP e-Mail accounts through the Internet . . . and I am able to receive e-Mail without problems. But I can't send e-Mail from my regular accounts.
I can compose a message and then select send . . . and the process completes without any error messages. But the message is never actually sent.
I am able to send e-Mail through my new blackberry.net address, but I can't send anything through regular accounts using SMTP. My POP and SMTP servers have different names, so I think that may be part of the problem. However, I can't find ANY way to adjust the name of the SMTP server . . . either on the Pearl or through the Internet interface.
I have sent service books three or four times . . . I have waited . . . I have power cycled the Pearl . . . etc. I have tried to send to different addresses on different domains, all to no avail.
