Default Ramble usage

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I'm using Ramble, and I think that the program is using my SMS messages. This says I've used 321 messages, and I'm pretty sure I haven't used that many actual text messages outside of Ramble IM. Is there a setting that I should change?

Also, I have IM+ as well (hadn't used it in a minute, since switching over to the Pearl). Should I be using this instead, will it not use SMS?

Ramble does not use SMS, uses data

if you have TMobile, you can go to tmobile.com, and check the messages used, and what # they were sent to, or from. I'm not sure if all carriers have that information available to you online.

OZ Instant Messaging (the messaging program that comes with the Pearl) DOES use SMS Texts

I'm on the web site right now, and I don't see where you're talking about...where should I look?

Login, of course

OK, here it goes, click on "See billing details" right under your balance (on the left hand side)

Then under resources, on the right hand side, click on "See minutes used details"

This will take you to a summary of the minutes currently/recently used, there is a drop down menu you can select "Messanging charges"

That will show you incoming and outgoing text messages

I have a friend who sends me tons of txt and pics everyday, I dont mind. I do have a unlimited txt plan but is there any way I can have him do something different where it doesnt count towards my txt package ?

If so then maybe I can drop to the $5 plan instead of the $15 one.

I also checked the Tmobile website like someone just said and most of my incoming messages come from "202 or 401". What is that ?

Of course! He can simply e-mail you and attach pictures to those e-mails.
