EDIT: looks like I've fixed everything. The power went out during my install of the latest T-Mo OS for the Pearl. I selected the "backup" option of the installation... after some frightening moments, I figured out how to get the info back on. Everything seems fine... should I be worried about it stopping before it was complete? I think it stopped during the last phase, which was the data restore, so since I was able to do that, I guess I'm ok...

Also, being a mac user, is there a way to do this desktop manager thing off my mac instead of my finacee's PC?

You can always use JL_Cmder to wipe your BlackBerry clean the reinstall the OS. I did that when I had a similiar experience as yours. As for the Mac... you cannot do an OS upgrade on a Mac when it comes to the BlackBerry. Pocketmac will allow you to sync your handheld but that's about it. If you're have a new Mac with the intel chip you can always do a dual boot and run Windows on your Mac. I am a total Mac person. I only use my PC to do OS upgrades on my Blackberry.

I do use Pocketmac to sync my addresses and memos, but I'm wondering if there's something that works like the Desktop Manager, but for the mac (I like that the Desktop Manager backs up EVERYTHING, including even the order of my application icons). Something like that on the Mac would be GREAT.
