Default Cingular 8100 Bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Cingular 8100 and a GN6210 (the same as Jabra BT250(?)) bluetooth headset. The two are paired and all that. However, I seem to be unable to get a sustained Bluetooth connection.

As soon as I hit connect on the phone, if I hit the Bluetooth button on the headset, it starts dialing out the last number dialed and bluetooth works. If not, or when the previously connected call ends, the phone sings out "Connection lost" or some such message.

I'm new to this bluetooth thing. I used to use the Bluetooth headset for Softphones on the PC, and the PC-headset used to stay connected after the initial connect. Can I get a similar connection between the headset and the phone. How is this bluetooth with 8100 supposed to work?

thanks
pvravi
