just switched from 8700c to to the new cingular pearl great device so far love the form factor....anybody else having a problem with seeing the missed call icon...want to get rid of it..read on the forum it was a problem for tmobile users on the launch of the pearl too...i have tried to delete missed calls log and call log but it still appears...thanks

Hmm, I have the Cingular Pearl and for me, once I view it in the call log is goes away....

i am using one folder for all messages are doing the same...thanks

try a battery pull that has helped in the past for me.

Try calling and creating a missed call and then viewing it and seeing if it goes away. I once had a voicemail icon on my 7290 stay there and didn't go away till I created a voicemail and then deleted it. Same thing happened on my 7130c with the missed call icon. I actually had to re-create it and then it would go away.

your deleting the missed call in your messages correct? not just the call log? You can always "wipe" the BB and that will clear it just make sure you back things up first
