I want to set the pearl up to not store sent SMS or MMS messages. Is this possible and how do I do it?

Also, I'm on a BES server. Can anyone tell me what goes through the BES and what goes through Cingular's internet service? For instance, will personal email ever route through the BES? What about SMS?

Go into your 'messages' folder. then select menu/options/general options. You can then change the 'hide sent messages' to yes.

I can hide them but I don't want the phone to save them after being sent. They are currently hidden but I have to manually delete each of them from time to time.

I've wondered this too. But aren't they discarded after X amount of days (as you designate?) If you had them hidden, I assume they'd disappear without you ever having to worry about them, after, say, 5 days or 10 days, or whatever you set.
