My pearl is tied to my corporate email, and I get emails quite often. Each email is accompanied by a vibrate alert. I looked around but could not see an option to turn off the vibrate alerts for email. My phone is in a "Normal" profile for rings otherwise.

I'd like to turn off the vibrate alerts that I get for email. Where's this option, please?

You need to edit the profile.

Go into Profiles / Advanced
Click on "Normal"
Edit the appropriate Messages folder alert and change it from Vibrate to None.
