I am new to the forum, just purchased my first blackberry and love it. I have one problem that I can't figure out. The pearl is my only phone so at night I have it charging by my bed stand. I need it to be on in case someone needs me, however everytime an email comes through the phone rings twice. My question, how can I have the phone ring for a call, but be silent when email comes in? Thanks for your help. Love this website.

You need to edit the "Profile" that you are using.
If you are using a holster/case, you can set the "Out of holster" setting to None and the BB will not vibrate when a message comes in.

If you are NOT using a holster, you may need to set up a new profile called "Night" when the phoe will ring, but messages, SMS, etc. will be silent.
