Default Pearl $19.99 data plan

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have a few questions on this data plan that i have just added on.

1. does it include the 300 sms? I asked the TMob Rep but he said it is not included.

2. can i only check my email using the web browser? how do i setup a real time email so that i get notification whenever i receive an email from Yahoo?

3. does the BB Messanger can only be used between BB users? how come i couldnt add contact the list, is it because they are not BB user?

4. When I clicked on "setting up internet email", it jumps to a web site that prompt me to sign up for TMOBileWeb, that cost $5.99 a month. Didnt I already have the data plan that is not supposed to have unlimited access?

Thanks for your help for answering my dummie questions.

I was having the same problem.
  • Login to "https://my.t-mobile.com/login/MyTmobileLogin.aspx" on your computer. (sorry, i do not have URL post privlidges on this forum yet)
  • Make sure a picture of our phone shows up in the top right corner
  • In the "communication tools and downloads" section on the MyTmobile home page, select "Set up BlackBerry Internet Email"
  • blah, blah, blah

No. Two SEPERTATE things. But, they do have a plan called "Minutes and Mail" that DOES include both.

2. can i only check my email using the web browser? how do i setup a real time email so that i get notification whenever i receive an email from Yahoo?

Log into your BIS account through the my.t-mobile site. Add your yahoo e-mail info.

BB Messenger, I believe, is just for BB to BB. But you can get Yahoo IM for the BB off the BB site (its under Blackberry Bookmarks in the Browser.)

Get the feeling your BIS account is not quite set up yet. Or you may just need to take the battery out and put it back in.

Thanks for your help for answering my dummie questions.

Thanks all for your help.

I thought the $19.99 BB Unlimited plan is the same as the $29.99 without voice. On TMOB web site, the $29.99 does included the 300 sms.

pretty sure the 29.99 is the same plan but includes the wifi service too. Think it really misleading and just a way to boost revenue for the hotspot business
