Unhappy Urghhh...does Anyone Find This Normal???

Please Login to Remove!

As I was mentioning in my previous posts I have tired a variety of Instant Messaging clients. Im currently using Web Messanger, which I find to be one of the bests. The only problem is when I receive or place a call and I stay on the phone for a long period of time approx 5+ and hang up then return to Web Messanger it says disconnected and then it reconnects. I went into the settings and noticed the connection timeout was @ 2 minutes and changed it to NEVER?? What do you think

That sounds normal to me but than again, I don't have Web Messanger. Keep in mind, whenever you on the phone, you loose your data connection. That means you also loose your IM.

When you hang up, that's why you see it disconnected. Now since you no longer on the phone, it is trying to reconnect again.

You'll probably take a big hit to your battery life with a constant connection.

Hard on battery life, but I understand that WM can be set to save messages and so you won't lose any.
