Arrow T-mobile Called - Regarding Blackberry Pearl Replacement

Please Login to Remove!

As I mentioned in my previous post I have called T-Mobile regarding my issue. The representative told me that I will need to call back tomorrow and see if I was approved for the replacement and if it is all ready to be shipped out Hmm...it seems that T-Mobile (Blackberry (RIM) ) is totally different from the sidekick department. I used to own a sidekick 3 and it was occassionally giving me problems and hardware defects. When I called regarding an exchange it was automatically processed. I was told the reason they can't do this on the Blackberry is cause it is totally different but OOOO well I can wait few hours to confirm I got accepted and its all good....

it just got released. they are typically replaced with refurb devices. if they can push back the time frame of replacements by a few months, then they can save money when they are able to offer refurb replacements in place of unused, new devices.

Not sure what you are saying here. You made a warranty claim and they are dragging their feet on getting one out to you?

I posted a thread with my experience. Dialed T-Mo, said "blackberry" when prompted on what I wanted, got that dept. Explained the problem, he entered the order to send me a new Pearl and it arrived the next day.

It was a new Pearl, not a refurb.

Here is the link to the thread.

Sounds like you got an inexperienced rep? Based on my experience, seems a rep can order a phone to be sent while you are talking on the phone.
