Default All Day Event not appearing on Home screen?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Long time reader, first time poster. My pearl is easily the best phone I've ever owned, especially coming from a Nokia N70 (how do Nokia still have such a large market share is beyond me).

Anyway, my BB is on Vodafone UK, and I'm using the Vodafone Today theme. Most of my calendar entries are 'All day events', but these don't show on the home/today screen, only entries with specific times do. I don't want to change them all just to suit the BB, any ideas?

Cheers,

Tom

Did you ever figure out how to display all day events? I'm having a similar issue with my Cingular Pearl.

Thanks,
jf

I don't think it is possible, i have just done it so all day events finish at 1159pm then they show. a bit of tinkering done thejob.

that's the only way I've been able to make it so.
also, my appts don't show a time until the reminder goes off. not very useful but better than nothing I suppose.

yes this bugs the hell out of me for not showing birthdays (all day event). That stinks - have to reset all birthdays to have some sort of time span for them to show up under today page theme :(

i'm using my pearl to sync with outlook and i usually enter the b'days or anniversaries in the individual contact together with their address -so that the event automatically appears in the calender. but now you're saying that after doing so - the event needs to b CHANGED again in the calender to specify the timings?

one more thing - does anyone know a simple call recorder for pearl.. like if i want to record a call .. or perhaps record a voice note ..something very simple.

thank u for the help.

I have had the same problem and haven't figured out a solution. I am using the Dimension Today Plus theme. Will not show 'all day event'. I have to set some bogus time for each event, birthday, anniv., etc.

I've tried pocketday on the pearl and it hung also. There's gotta be a way to put all day events on the main screen. Seems like it would be a simple thing.
