Default Keeping acccounts seperate.

So I JUST got a BB Pearl (Cingular) and so far, love it.

My company uses Enterprise Outlook and so I mainly use my BB for that. I ALSO have set up a POP email account for my personal email address.

When I send/receive messages from the POP account, I see the message appear also in the Enterprise account... I have a seperate icon on the main menu for each account, but it seems that the Enterprise Outlook account always wants to be "the master." Any way to prevent that?

I played around with filtering, but that didn't work...

Not sure where to look for the answer to this... I'm sure it's a noob question! Sorry!

- Thanx in advance!
- Jon

I use Gmail for my personal email. Google has an outstanding mobile email application client for the Blackberry (and other devices) that I use instead of integrating into my normal Blackberry inbox.

Works really well for me.

Cool, thanks - but I really don't want to switch to Gmail right now.

Anyone have a solution for me that allows me to keep my Yahoo based mail?

The only thing you can do is create a Search and Save it with a shortcut key. I do this when I only want to see my corporate email.

1. Go into your Messages and select Search.
2. Set the Service option to the Enterprise Email.
3. Save the Search. Give it a name and a shortcut key.

Use the shortcut key to restrict the email list to only Enterprise email.

Hm. This isn't working for me... When I initiate the search, it comes back with no messages, and I do have some that it should show...

The service option choices are: All Services, my pop email address, and Desktop. I selected Desktop. That right?

- Thanx

having trouble with this as well. I set up the search - took a couple of tries to get it right - and am now looking to delete the previous saved searches. Does anyone know how to do that?
