Default application loader

Please Login to Remove!

Just got new Pearl from Cingular. New to Blackberry and everything has been pretty easy until now. I am trying to load a couple trial versions of Handango games. I have downloaded them to PC. Trying to get them from PC to application loader. They are not automatically showing up on application loader. So I click add. I click on the alx file and hit open. I get the message no additional applications for your device were found. Everything I have downloaded to the PC states that they will work with the Pearl. Can anybody help?

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You need the OS on your PC to load other items. Get it from you carrier or links here.

Please follow these steps exactly.

- Download the HANDHELD OS from your carrier
- Execute the download file
- Locate and delete VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive
- Restart Desktop Manager

See if that works and good luck.
