A former friend of my that I do not want anything to do with anymore has a blackberry and we would Pin each other on the regular now I relize that he is a pure GOOF and don't want him to pin me ever again.

You might try to use a filter based on his PIN

I don't know of any way to block a specific PIN. Filters are for email only.

Just politely ask him to not pin you any more. If that doesn't work.....kick his a**. That will definitely stop him.

Tell him you blocked his PIN, even though there really is no way, and just delete his txts for a few days without responding. Act like you just dont see them and he will stop eventually.

I treat my PIN like its my social security or credit card number and almost no one has it. I see others with it in their profiles or give it out to anyone but in todays day and age, I wouldnt.

All it takes is some pervert or jerk you disagreed with in some topic to get hold of it and your stuck with them.

he can dee if the pin messages go through so there is really no way to stop him. You could report him to his carrier as harrassing you.

With that post.....I'm considering removing my pin.

I just ignore them and they eventually go away because if you dont reply they will loose interest.

Ok thanks guys for the info. I'm gonna just tell him that I blocked him and not respond to his mesages like poster above said. The guy is a close friend of mine but I found out some wreckless things that he's been doing and don't want to get caught up in his mess. Yeah most of you guys would say just tell him how you feel but he doesn't deserve to know why I'm cutting him off I want him to think about it untill he goes nutz..

If you go to options>Security Options>Firewall

There is an option to Block PIN, SMS and MMS messages

THis should help. Let me know if you need more assistance

The funny part is that Dawg guy says hes a BlackBerry Genious... Yet he tells you to ignore the guy. There is multiple way to stop PIN messges.

Are you on a BES?

Now lets get one thing straight there (insert Explinitive here) I didnt call my self anything. That is due to post count only they are not customized at all. So before you go bashing me why not try and contributing something first.

And if he is not on BES there is not a way to stop them
