So, I downloaded the latest update (.69 Cingular) but it won't install. Why? I follow the Device Managers instructions, but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Did you delete (or rename) the vendor.xml file?

this is as you install the software to start with? do you receive an error of any kind?
DTM should be closed
I would also have the HH device unplugged

Not sure on the vendor file, but I downloaded, installed, then plugged in the handheld and started Desktop Manager.... and nothing... kinda lost...

Use your PC's Windows search function (START -> SEARCH -> Search For Files Or Folders -> "vendor.xml") to find the file - then delete it.

vendor.xml is here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
delete or rename it.

You MUST delete the vendor.xml file located in the directory that the Sarbin specified.
