Default Mig33 - TCP/HTTP Connection Type?

I decided to give Mig33 a chance since I am in need of a MSN client, and I was curious on how better a DATA client is then SMS type client. Apparently the DATA is quicker or more responsive then the SMS, which makes sense I guess. Anyways, I registered a name and got everything set up but it wanted me to activate something regarding free SMS and or something about local calls? From a quick search I did eariler on mig33 I noticed that someone said not to activate as thats for SMS use, so I didn't even bother.. I got signed in and everything looks like its working properly.. But what type of connection should I choose? TCP/HTTP? Does it matter? I have unlimited DATA AND SMS but I was just curious on this application.

Also, is there any way to take off the personal picture that says Mig33.. I guess this is why the app is free though, as you advertise for them.

the icon of Mig33 is stuck in the background if thats what your talking about.. my setting is TCP and I don't think there is a way to change that since it sets itself up.. TCP works great for me and is super fast for being EDGE
