I'm trying to sync up my entourage (calendar, contacts, etc) with my pearl using pocketmac. when i press sync, it stops responding after a bit and stay at "synchronizing data". I did try quitting than re-launching Entourage but than I get the following error.




[07:44:37.659] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.



any have the same problem and found a cure?


Computer - mac G4 OS 10.4.8
Cell - cingular pearl v. 4.2.0.69
Entourage v.11.3.2

PS. i do have an email into RIM/pocketmac people.

Had all sorts of issues much like this;

Did you have a previous BB ?
If so, you will need to completely remove, not just ininstall, Pocketmac, ie remove all the Pocketmac folders from user/Library etc.. and reinstall

The USB cable with the Pearl also seems specific as the 8700 USB cable doesn't provide connectivity

There are a couple of other glitches on Contacts as well, all contacts must have some Category assignment, a default of "none" causes an error

And entourage must be running
