Default transfering files to pearl via bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

I have searched all the threads and am pretty confused

It seems that you have to use the m-sft b-tooth driver and services with pearl as opposed to drivers which may have come with the bluetooth dongle

When using m-sft ( xp service pack 2 ) I can't transfer files ( after fully pairing with computer and using other services like syncing )

when attempting to send from or receive on pearl I get the message to turn on "obex file push profile"

under b-tooth options there doesn't seem to be an option to turn on this service ( obex) should this service be inherent to pearl or should it be installed when pairing with computer

how can I install this service ?

Once you have paired the two devices (Pearl and computer) you should just be able to send the file. I would think it's not too different than on my Mac. I select the file to send and my Mac prompts me to choose which paired device receives the file. Click on the Pearl and BAM! Files shoot through the air from computer to Blackberry. If you're not getting something like this it's possible the pairing is not complete. Make sure bluetooth is active and in "discoverable" mode on both devices.
