Sent Text Messages Disappear I just received my Pearl about a week ago. The last couple nights the call log and all my text messages have been cleared. Searching through the forums the only answer I can find is that it's a firmware problem. I have the latest T-Mobile OS, so if that is the problem I guess I have to wait for a fix. Now, any text message I sent won't stay on the phone. I still have all of the messages I have received, but any I have sent disappear. They are in the phone, and then just gone a few minutes later. I have checked the settings and the only thing I could figure would cause this was the "Hide Sent Messages" option, but it has always been set to "No." Would this be apart of the possible firmware bug, or is it something else? Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks for your input. |
How much free memory do you have (Options-Status)? Logs and things dissappear when this gets too low. |

what you can do 1. clear all older sent emails/text messages, etc. 2. delete any unwanted emails, text messages, etc. 3. see if you had gotten perhaps an email w/ a large attachment and delete that. 4. Run application loader and get rid of any unwanted applications. |

I don't receive e-mails on the phone, and text messages have already been cleared as per my original problem. The only application that shows up when I run application loader is the OZ Messenger. Now I'm not sure why I don't have any space. |
other ideas 1. media (pics and other media stored on device memory) |
You probably have a buch of things loaded that you don't need, and it isn't necessary to use Destop Manager to delete them. Go to Options - Advanced options - Applications and look for Language and Input support items you won't use. This can free up a lot of space! Also consider deleting the Sample Video. There is thread here on freeing memory that is much more detailed than this. |
