Is there a way I could have my email messages not show up under the Message icon my Text's come to?

I find it very annoying to have them in both

Everything goes to the "Messages" folder. No way around that. There are some themes that have separate text message folders, though. You might give them a try.

unfortunately no...email will always come to messages folder
